Undefeated is an Academy Award Winning Film that will touch your heart. This film is based on a true story about an underprivileged and underfunded inner-city football team.

There are times in everyone’s life that defines who we are. Sometimes it is when we are the lowest that we truly excel; perhaps it is because we have nothing left to lose. This moving story tells the tale of three student athletes and a volunteer coach who helps to guide them, not only on the gridiron, but in life as well.

I believe that the “Academy Award” speaks for itself. I don’t think you are going to want to miss this one. It isn’t just about football; it’s about building character and overcoming the things that life throws at you.

Slugterra, Return of the Shane Gang

This animated television series is now available on the DVD “Return of the Shane Gang”.

Here is a teaser:

This DVD contains five episodes of the show in widescreen with a Digital Dolby 5.1 soundtrack. It also includes Bonus features of three episodes which allow the characters to give a little bit more insight to their world and how it works. Return of the Shane Gang also includes an intro into Slugterra with creator Asaph Fipke and story editor Rob Hoegee.

The storyline is about Eli Shane. He is wants to be the greatest slug-slinger of them all! Eli has to collecting, training and duel with little critters called slugs.

Eli and his gang (known as the Shane Gang) consists of Kord, Trixie, and Pronto. They explore caverns and challenge rivals (as well as each other) to friendly duels in their underground world.

The Shane Gang are determined to restore law and order to Slugterra and take down Dr. Blakk. Dr. Blakk’s experiments have transformed the slugs into monstrous versions of themselves (called ghouls) which makes them more threatening and much less controllable.

If you have never seen Slugterra, you might want to check out this DVD. They really have put a new twist on “putting a SLUG in your gun”!

Wreck-It Ralph, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition

Wreck-It Ralph is a story about a video game “Bad Guy” who is on a mission to becoming a “Good Guy”.

I enjoyed watching this movie myself, so I say it’s for all ages, but obviously more appealing to the younger crowd (boys and girls alike) because it’s a cartoon. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking you won’t enjoy it.

This movie is a unique view of the video games and you are going to enjoy this one, as will everyone who watches it.

Without completely ruining the storyline, by day, the video games are just that; a video game, but by night, the characters come to life to reveal the real characters. They can also visit other games and characters.

I don’t want to spoil the plot and story, but I am confident that young and old, boy or girl, you’re going to enjoy this movie.

And Disney pulled out all the stops on this one too. This is the Ultimate Collector’s Edition. It comes in 4 formats: a Digital Copy, DVD, Blu-ray, and Blu-ray 3D! Plus it also has Behind the Scenes, Deleted Scenes, and more. What is the “and more”? Well, you’re just going to have to check it out and see.
