Skylanders Giants at Best Buy

I was recently asked to go to Best Buy and check out Skylanders Giants at a participating store. Lucky for me I only live 10 minutes away, if you need help finding out where a participating Best Buy is near you go ahead and visit there website.

If you haven’t decided whether to get this game or not, I suggest going to Best Buy and checking out the game. If you decide to pick it up, they have a variety of Skylanders characters you might want to pick up with your new starter pack.

Prior to playing the game I saw this trailer:

Skylanders can be enjoyed by all ages. I had a lot of fun playing it at Best Buy and the store is kid friendly, so take them have a blast. And while you’re there,  and try out the Skylanders Giants game!

Skylanders Giants is available for the Wii, Xbox 360, and Ps3, so you can get it for whichever gaming console you have. I didn’t think about that before going and when I got to the store, I found out that they only had the Sony PS3 set up for the demo. I am more used to the Xbox 360, but I quickly figured out the controls and had a blast. I played around for a while only to find most of the control layouts were close to the Xbox 360 . This game is so different compared to any other game I’ve played in the past. It has a lot of different characters and ways to interact. I found it to be very enjoyable and fun. The character I got to play with was Jet-Vac making me spend my time running through enemies with my gun/vacuum. I found a few places I tried to venture through but green trees/dead trees ended up growing and blocking my path. Now as far as that goes I’m guessing you need a curtain element of character to venture in there, so if you get a chance, take one of the other characters and place it on the Portal to see if it works! Now if you are still skeptical on getting this game you need to grab your keys, get in your car and drive to Best Buy to try out this great game.

Check It Out!

I Started out in 1976 trying out to sing in bands but no bands were interested in me. In 1977 I started playing guitar. The individual that was teaching me (who for now will remain anonymous) told me that I would NEVER learn how to play guitar because I had no sense of rhythm. I joined my first band in 1978 called "Dead Center" in Jacksonville, Florida. I played an Aspen guitar, black; a Les Paul copy and in 1981. I gave that guitar to the teacher who said I'd never learn to play. I wrote my first song in 1979 or '80. Over the years I have been in many bands but my passion has been songwriting. I have written well over 100 songs and though the early ones were kind of rough around the edges, I think that most of them could be dusted off and given a new facelift. Today I am still working on my songs. Currently I can play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, harmonica, and Native American flute. The flutes that I play are ones that I made myself. My guitars are the Epiphone G-400 faded, an Ibanez RG370 DX, an Epiphone G 1275 double neck guitar. My acoustic guitars are an Alvarez 12 string and an old Kay guitar. My drum set is a Peace drum set. I do my recording on a Zoom HD16.
